!!! Contrary to our earlier report, our own Donald Zimmerman is alive and well and living in Rockford, IL. We had tagged an entry about him here as »unconfirmed.« Lo and behold, it in fact turns out that while Rockford, IL was proud to have two fine citizens named Donald Zimmerman (Donald L. and Donald E. respectively), that community sadly lost one of them in February 2010, as reported here. Fortunately for us, the deceased's middle initial was E. and not L. Apart from our embarrassment, we are happy that Mr. Z. is still among us and apologize for any sad feelings we may have caused.
